Today, a Press Release Went Out. But This Is the Part That Matters Most.

Today, a press release went out announcing that Maine Aging Partners is now officially an LLC. That may sound like just a business move—but for me, it’s something much deeper.

It’s the result of years of watching families navigate a system that wasn’t built for them.
It’s the result of watching middle-income older adults fall through the cracks—too much money for MaineCare, not enough to spend $10,000 a month on care.
It’s the result of working with people on every part of the spectrum: those with private resources who don’t know how to use them wisely, and those relying entirely on MaineCare who still deserve clarity, dignity, and support.

This isn't a policy organization. I’m not here to change laws.
I’m here for the people who are living inside the confusion—right now.
People who don’t need a new law—they need a plan. They need someone to walk through it with them.

Launching as an LLC gives me room to grow, to be taken seriously by systems that often only respect structure. But the work itself hasn’t changed. I’m still doing what I’ve always done—helping families find the right next step, with honesty, urgency, and heart.

Whether someone is paying out of pocket, navigating MaineCare, or completely overwhelmed by where to begin—Maine Aging Partners exists to say:
You’re not alone. And you still have choices.

If you’re navigating care for yourself or someone you love, let’s talk.
You can reach out to schedule a consultation.

P.S. Happy Tax Day. If today’s been full of adulting… you’re not alone in that either.
